WHERE TO SEE ANIMALS If you want to see animals, we know all the great spots to see Grizzly Bears, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Moose, Black Bear, Elk, Deer, Wolves, Antelope, Buffalo , and many other species that are found in these fantastic areas. It's hard to describe the thrill you'll experience when you actually see these animals in their natural habitat. Throughout our 40+ years of exploring Glacier Park, Yellowstone Park and Grand Teton National Park, we have learned where you can go to see each specific species of animals. For example, if you want to see mountain goats, then we recommend you head up to Logan Pass along the Going To The Sun Road in Glacier Park. From there, there is a short hike that will take you to the Hidden Lake Overlook, where there is almost always mountain goats in the area. If you want to see wolves, a great place is the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone Park. If you want to see moose or elk during the fall mating season, then we recommend that you head for Grand Teton National Park. If you want to see moose in the summer, then you are almost guaranteed to see one or more moose in Fisher Cap Lake in Glacier Park.
